Not sure if this is any help but have a Theresa Stapleton born around 1885 - she either emigrated to Australia or was born in Australia and married George Lowe. Have no idea who her parents were but may have been a Cornelius Stapleton.

Firstly my apologies, I wrongly put Martin Stapleton's birth year as 1882, should be 1832, Martin was born possibily in Templemore, Tipperary. Theresa Stapleton is Martin's daughter, born 14 October 1875, at Prymaid Hill Victoria, Australia.
Theresa's mother was Catherine Fitzgerald born abt. 1836 in Limerick. Theresa was married to George Lowe. Should there be any further information re Martin and the Stapleton family, would be grateful to hear from you. Thank you, Robert Kelly.

I am looking for some Stapleton ancestors also. Judith Stapleton married Richar Neil (maybe O'Neil) and they had the following children Anne bat1801, Ellen bap 1803, Bridget bap 1805, Bridget bap 1805, Mary bap 1807, John and Thomas bap 1810 and Margaret bap 1817. The children were baptised Moycarkey (Tow Mile Borras) Tipperary. You haven't come across any of these names in your research

Vicki certainly have Stapletons and O'Neills in my tree but cannot make a connection to who you are researching at the moment. Probably need more research will let you know if I come across anything
