Mary Arnold Irvine was born (probably in 1871) to Francis Jenkins Irvine and Susan Tully, who m in 1861. Susan Tully came from Galway, Francis possibly from Dublin, and four of their six children were born in Galway. However Mary (the fifth child, and only daughter) was born near Carlow, Ireland. Grandma Mary was proud of a genealogical chart she had made, showing her ancestry back to a Rev Blayney Irvine who m Miss Little in 1758. I have not found any supporting documentation for this ancestry!
