I also have a Mary Boulger (Bolger) in my ancestry. My Mary B. was married to James Moony (Born 1783 in Kilcock). Their Great grandaughter.Bridget Mooney , born in Maynooth 1843 married William Dowling in Maynooth. They had 6-8 children, I have had only one trace of descendant recently. I don't know if there is any relationship with your Thomas Dowling and William, but it could stand further investigation, since they were all associated with North Kildare.

Mary Bolger was born in 1783 and died in Moone in 1870.
She married Thomas Dowling of Mullamast, Co. Kildare. They had 7 children. The sixth child born in 1814 was Thomas was my Great Great Grandfather.Nothing is known about Thomas until in 1852 when he marries Catherine Davis and with their daughter sail on the Marco Polo for Australia arriving in Mid-September. Thomas had lowered his age by 8 years.
