Mary Carroll was my 3ggm. She was born in Tipperary, possibly Borrisokane. She married William Kennedy and my 2ggf Dennis Kennedy was Baptised in Borrisokane in 1847, his sister Mary 1849. The family had moved to Wales by the 1851 census so it's likely they left to escape the famine. I cannot find marital or birth records for William and Mary but I have both Baptismal records. On one of the records sponsors were listed as Stephen Kennedy and Ann Carroll. It is therefore possible that Ann was a sister although this is unconfirmed.
