Migrated to/Born in Australia

Mary Coffey was the daughter of Patrick and Bridget Coffey of Castleconnell.  Bridget's maiden name was Kennedy. Patrick and Bridget Coffey had eight children. As far as I know one of the sons was Matthew Coffey b abt 1838.
In 1853 Mary Coffey married William Minihan in Castleconnell, Limerick. Wiliam's parents were John Minihan, Dairy Farmer and Mary O'Malley.

In 1854 William and Mary Minihan sailed to Australia above the "James Carson". Three months and nine days later they arrived in Melbourne which was then a town of tents.  The family selected land at Cranbourne where they built a house of wattle and daub and raised cattle for milking.
