OMG i think this is my great gran on my grandfathers side, he was Daniel Riordan, he resided in Australia with my nan for over many years and is now buried with my eldest sister.

Mary O'Leary was the eldest of 12 children born to Pats Leary and Kate Riordan of Ballynabloun, St. Finan's Bay, Co. Kerry. She had 2 sisters Nelliie and Bridie and 9 brothers.
Her youngest brother Eddie was under 2 years when she and her sister Nelly emigrated in March 1922. They stayed with their uncle Tom and family for awhile in 1051 Central Ave, Bridgeport. Connecticut.
Mary married Paddy Freebairn and they settled in Greenwich around 1925.
They visited Ireland in 1932 and stayed until 1933. Their son Joe was born in 1936 and was their only child. I met Aunt Mary in 1971.
Mary died on April 2nd 1972 aged 75. She was predeceased by her husband Paddy. She called America " God's Own Country".
