Mary Willis Shannon, born in the 1820s, lived in Kilcoe parish. Married to Thomas Shannon. Mary lived in Lissaclarig (Lissacharig?) in 1894, and husband Thomas lived in Aughadown that same year. Lissacharig was listed in probate records for Mary's daughter; the info on Thomas came from Guy's Almanac. They had 10 children that I know of: Ellen, Hester/Esther, John, Ann, Minnie, Jane, Elysa, Philip, Richard, and Thomas, Jr. Several children emmigrated to the U.S. They were Protestant. Thomas was a tenant farmer, later a land owner, and participated in the Carbery Ag Society. One of their grandchildren was shot and killed in Aughadown in 1920.
