Mathew O'Brien was born in 1802 in Dublin, Ireland. He came to the United States in the 1830s. He first lived in Albany, New York. Mathew had his Naturalization in February 1839 in Albany. He married Jane Lindsey sometime before 1839. I believe they were married in Albany, but I haven't found a marriage certificate yet. Jane (1818-1869) was from County Donegal, Ireland. They had their six children in Albany.
