Michael Fallon of Newtown, Termonbarry, born 1881 to Francis (b. 1846) and Maria (b. 1856, d. 1913), married to Bridget Fallon of Fairymount (b. 1890, d. 1965). Father of Mary, (b. 1918), Francie, Bridget (d. 1974), James (Seamus, b. 1923), John Joe, Michael.

I believe that that Michael Fallon's mother Maria was Maria Egan, daughter of Thomas Egan (abt 1828 - 1904) and Margaret Creed (abt 1831 - 1903) of Cloonfad, Termonbarry, Roscommon.

My great grandfather Patrick Egan was Maria's brother. He was born in Cloonfad in about 1853 and died in Mareeba, Queensland, Australia in 1929.

Other siblings in the family that I am aware of are:

James Egan (1856 - 1921) who married Brigid Duffy and lived in Cloonfad.

Margaret (Maggie) Egan (1861 - 1931) who married John Noonan and lived in Knappogue/Cloondara, Longford.

William Egan (1873 - 1963) who married Mary Doherty (Michael Fallon was a witness at their wedding) and later Sarah Henegan. William lived in Rooskey.
