Hello! I have been collecting as much info about Ireland Keaty fami,irs as I can in the hopes of connecting to mine. While I can’t confirm any connection to your Michael, I do have some info that you may or may not have IF I am pinpointing the correct Michael.
I have a Michael Keaty, baptized 1 April, 1832 in Doon, Limerick. He was the son of Mary Dineen and John Keaty. I can account for 7 siblings of Michael. His father, John died in 1868 in Ireland. His mother and sisters, Ellen and Catherine emigrated to Australia in Dec 1863. I could not be sure of the name of Michael’s wife, but show that he emigrated to America. The year is not clear, but the 1880 census lists a son, Michael who is 6 and was born in Ireland. So, presumably after 1874. At that time, he had 6 children, including William, born in 1867. They were living in Westchester. Is this your Michael?

I don't think this is my family. Do you mean Westchester ILLinois? My great grandfather william never came to america.
I know william was from limmerick but I was never able to find any birth info that panned out. William died in Cork
in 1929

I believe we have spoken before on your Facebook Keaty page. If so, than I have never found a birth record for your William nor confirmed his parents other than the name, Michael on William’s marriage certificate. I have not found any reason to believe he was born in Limerick. Do you have something that indicates that? Also, I know I asked before—have you ever taken a DNA test? Feel free to reply here or PM me through the Facebook group. Maybe we can figure it out!
