  • Hi, my grandfather Michael Mulloy, whom I never knew, ended up in Chicago, having a number of children. His father, my great grandfather was also Michael Mulloy, who was from Ballinrobe. I had an uncle Mike Mulloy, and dear brother Michael Mulloy.

My great- grandfather Michael had a number of children as well (of which I am currently in the process of learning and assembling information).

I am wondering the source of the picture of Michael Mulloy posted above and wondering if connections.

    With warmest regards,
    Gerald (Gerry) Mulloy

  • Michael Mulloy was my great grandfather. He emigrated to Cleveland, Ohio from Skealoghan (near Ballinrobe). He married and had five children, returning to Ireland at least once to sell the family property when his brother died. We do not know the names of his parents or siblings, but the 1911 census shows Mulloys living on the property he later returned to sell. I am very interested in learning more about him. It is difficult to pinpoint his records in Ireland because we have many different birth years.

  • I have a Bridget Mulloy from Co Mayo, and the only known documentation is from her son's death certificate and her marriage to Dominick Roach in 1835
