Miles Foley : Short Biography

My, I believe, 3 times paternal great-grandfather was born in County Cork in the early 1800’s. His name was Miles Foley. He married Lady Margaret Cavaugh. They came to the United States around 1840 with their 12 year old daughter, Margaret Foley.

On my maternal side, my, I again believe, 3 times great-grandfather was Patrick McCarty. Born in early 1800’s in Ireland. County unknown. His wife was Nancy Stone, also born in Ireland. County unknown.                                                            

Any information that anyone could provide would be deeply, deeply appreciated.  I’m especially curious about the name Lady Margaret Cavaugh.
