Nelly was 2nd daughter of Pats Leary and Kate Riordan of Ballynabloun, St. Finan's Bay, Co. Kerry.
She spent most of her youth with her maternal grandparents JAMES RIORDAN and MARY O'NEILL.
She went to the U.S. with her sister Mary in March 1922.
After a year or so she married Denis Reardon
who was originally from Portmagee, Co. Kerry.They settled in New Haven and had 3 children 2 boys and a girl..
She suffered ill health for a few years prior to her death.She died on 25th Jan.1969 age 66.
