My mother, Mary (Byrne) Reddington was born 1921 in Altclogh/Carrick and immigrated to Chicago. Buried in Des Plaines, Illinois outside of Chicago. Her parents were John Byrne (1879-1922) from Carrick (died and buried there) & Bridget Cannon (1889-1929) born in Carrick and immigrated to Chicago with my mother. Bridget Cannon's parents were Cormack Cannon (1846-1916) from Meenadiff Townland, Kilgoly Parish & Elizabeth "Bettie" McGinley (? - 1905) from the same town. Do you think there is a McGinley connection?
