Patrick and Mary Loftus came to the U.S. around 1850 on the passenger ship Fidelia with children Anthony, Bridget, John, Judy, and James.
I haven't been able to find birth records for Patrick and Mary, but I found the children in the National Library of Ireland Catholic Parish Baptisms records online for Kilfian. I believe there were two older children, Patrick and Owen, and two younger, James and Thomas based on their appearence together in the 1850 census in Carbondale, Luzerne, Pennsylania. Anthony's obituatary states that the family came from Mayo, so that is where I'm beginning my search.
