Migrated to/Born in Australia
Patrick Matthew Seaver was born in Lusk Parish, Co. Dublin, in 1812, to Patrick Seaver and Mary Dollard (Who was born in Skerries). In 1839 he married Arabella Teresa Locke from Dublin City. She was a Quaker and left her church and became a Catholic to marry Patrick Matthew in the Ballyboughal church.
They had 4 children while they lived in Ballyboughal - Joseph, Patrick, Mary and Teresa. In 1864 the family immigrated to Australia. The daughters went with the parents but the sons stayed in Ireland. I have never been able to trace the sons. I have full history of the family's movements in Australia. Patrick and Teresa were my great great grandparents.
