  • Patrick McCloskey was my great-great grandfather who emigrated to Philadelphia in the 1850's. My research says he probably came from Dungiven, maybe Gortgarn. Two parent possibilities are Michael McCloskey and Catherine Gallagher or Edward McCloskey and Catherine McIlvar/McIvor. That's where I'm stuck.

    Patrick married Catherine Devine in Philadelphia in 1856.
