My ancestors are Patrick McKenna born ab 1800 and married to Catherine McConnaughy from Crossbane, Killeevan. Their son James born ab 1834 was an apprentice shoemaker in Belfast from the age of 10 to about 15. He was caught tearing down an orange flag and went to Canada instead of going to jail. He ended up in Toronto, Ontario. I would love to find out more about James'  family in Crossbane, his parents and where in Belfast he was apprenticed etc.
