Patrick O'Grady and Katherine Quin lived in the townland of Ballingaddy East from about 1868 until 1891. Their three oldest daughters left for the US in the 1880s. In 1891, Patrick and Katherine sold all their possessions and emigrated with the rest of their children to the U.S. They settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
