Patrick was a Cottier who lived in Mace Middle and Mace Lower, County Mayo. He married Bridget Kelly on 19 May 1857; Patrick and Bridget had 10 children: Catherine, Mary, Bridget, Martin (my great-grandfather), James, Patrick, Ellen, and three who died as infants. Bridget and sons Martin, James, and Patrick immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts, on board the SS Pavonia in April 1889; Bridget died in Boston, Massachusetts in 1905.
Patrick's dates of birth and death were given in Martin Redington's Application and Contract Membership to the Massachusetts Catholic Order of Foresters (life insurance), Martin gave dates of birth and death for his parents. Baptism records have not been found yet.
