Feb 1841 - Patrick Slowy was born in Clones, Co. Monaghan in Feb 1841.  (Source: London, England, Metropolitan  Police Pension Registers, 1852 - 1932)

10 June 1867 - at age 26 he joined the Metropolitan Police in London, England. His Police Pension Record states that his father was Thomas and his mother was Susan.

mid-1879 - at age 29, married Louisa Jane Lavis (b. 1844-?)

1870 - son Thomas Slowey born.  Thomas later became a detective with the London Metropolitan Police.

1871 - son William Slowey born.

1871 England Census - Patrick is listed as a sergeant with the Met. Police and is living at 37 Stratford Place, Marylebone

1873 - daughter Louis Jane Slowey born.

1875 - daughter Rosanna Slowey born.

1879 - daughter Blanche Slowey born.

1881 England Census - Patrick is listed as a policeman and is living with his family at St Geo. Hanover Square.

1882 - son Frank Lavis Slowey born.

1901 England Census - Patrick's occupation is listed as Agent (Coal Trade) and his living at St. George, Hanover Square

1911 England Census - Patrick is listed as Police Pensioner and living in Hastings, Sussex.  He is listed as having been married for 41 years and having 7 children, 7 of whom are still living.

Feb 1929 - Patrick's daughter Blanche died.

Jan 1934 - aged 92 Patrick died in Hastings, Sussex, England. (England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1916 - 2007, 1934 Hastings Q1 Vol 2b Page 36)
