Peter Breslin was born in Killybegs, County Donegal, Ireland in about 1834 to parents Condy Breslin and Winifred Gallagher. He and his mother and sister migrated to Quebec, Canada when Peter was 5 years old. Peter married Margaret Revil (b. 1834 in Ballycullane, Tintern, Wexford, Ireland) 1 Oct 1861 in St. Patrick R.C. Church in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Peter was employed as a laborer in the shipyard in Quebec City. He died 6 May 1860 leaving his wife, a 6 year old son and a 3 month old daughter.
