Peter Usher (1838-1881) was the maternal great-great-grandfather of Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott.
He married Eliza Craig (b.1843- ) the couple raised a family in Glasnevin Village at 3 St Margaret's Parade.
- Peter Usher, was a stonecutter (possibly at Glasnevin Cemetery) and died young ag 43.

Eliza Usher married Thomas Finn and Phil Lynott is their descendant through their daughter Sara Finn who married Frank Lynott.

Monica Usher (1866-1948) was a dressmaker. She never married and died at Botanic Avenue, Glasnevin.
Robert Usher (1880-1903) bachelor, died of TB age 23 at 23 Cuffe St.
