Richard B. Kearney is my Great Great Grandfather on my my fathers mother's side. He was born in Cahir, Ballydrehid, Tipperary, Ireland. He was the son of James Kearney and Mary Bridget Baron. He had a brother James Kearney, who was married to Catherine (Kate) Houlihan. They lived in Cahir, Kilmoyler, Tipperary, Ireland and raised five (5) children. Bridget, Thomas, James, Robert and Johanna. Their family still live in the old Homestead. I have traveled to Cahir for my 50th Birthday and met with Robert Kearney and Johanna Peters daughter Breda Kearney in 2015.
My Great Grandfather fled Ireland and settled in Meriden, Connecticut. James and Rose Brady had seven (7) children. Mary Ann, Rose (my Great Grandmother), Catherine, Marie Helen, Josephine, James B Jr and Madelyn.

Hello! My grandfather was Richard C Kearney, born in 1925 in Meriden Connecticut. His parents were Lillian and James Kearney, and my grandfather had a sister, Lois. I know my grandfather has roots in Tipperary, so I was fascinated to find this upon a Google search! Richard (my grandfather) married Esther Stange, and they had 5 children: Richard (Rick), Nancy, Barbara, Thomas (Tommy) and Brian. Barbara is my mother. I also have a twin sister, Ashley. I am on 23&Me, working on adding to my family tree. It would be great to connect!

I'm just following up on my earlier response to your request to connect on January 21st. I believe I met your grandfather at my Grandmothers 80th birthday and again at her funeral.
