Richard Fitzgerald : Short Biography

Richard Fitzgerald (1882-1949) married Margaret Veale (1882-1941) in March 1906 in Dungarvan.  Richard was a labourer when they married but was listed as a railway worker on later documents.

The couple lived in Barannastook, Waterford, when they had their children between 1907 and 1919. They had seven (that I have been able to verify) and maybe another in 1923, but no documents can be found. 

Their daughter Margaret Mary (1913-)  is my paternal grandmother. She left Ireland in 1939 and settled in London, where she married and had one son, my father in September 1940. I have never found a record of her death.
