Elizabeth's maiden name Evans is indicated in the marriage record for son James (last name indicated as Dack) and Sarah Jane Hopkins.
A marriage record for a Robert Dagg and Elizabeth Evans, 7 Nov 1845 in Coolkenna, Aghold, Wicklow, though inconclusive, seems likely to be for this same Robert and Elizabeth.
According to a (very brief) obituary in Minnedosa, Manitoba Tribune, 2 Aug 1900, p.3, Robert passed away in his 81st year on 31 Jul 1900 at the home of his son James, in Clanwilliam.
