Migrated to/Born in USA
Tadgh and family (he was my 2nd great grandfather). His father john coyne rented land from Robert Graham who owned most of the lower half of Civil parish of Ballynakill along the southern shore of the harbour.
All my connected families were there: Gannon, Lydon and Thornton and I'd love to find out what kind of landlord Graham was as to how my families survived the Great Famine.
Tadgh didn't come over until 1862 but his oldest brothers and sister came over in late 1840s into finally sister Sarah Coyne Gannon came over in 1854 wth their daughter Catherine. Her husband Philip has come over with a group from the parish ( austin Welch and Michael king English families) in 1851.
