I am trying to locate my 3x great grandfather's birth records and his parents and grandparents details.

Terence O'Brien born 1815 (according to the immigration records) Bruff, Limerick, Ireland. He married Johanna Dooley 18 Feb 1836 at Bruff, Grange and Gilnogra, Limerick.

He and his wife and two children; Mary and Daniel emigrated to Australia in 1841. The immigration records also state that Terence parents were Daniel O'Brien and Catherine Carroll and were both deceased at this date. Daniel and Catherine had four children that the writer has found, Murtagh O'Brien born 1811, died 1882 Ireland, Daniel O'Brien born abt 1812, and the my ancestor Terence (above), Ellen O'Brien ( nothing known about Ellen).

Terence seems to be the only family member to came to Australia.

Any help would be appreciated. I have connections with DNA matches and not sure how these O'Briens all match up.

I'm not connected to the O'Brien family but I have Alice [probably baptised as Mary] Dooley daughter of David Dooley and Ellen Kennedy born 1838 in Bruff. Alice Dooley followed her husband William Houlihan to Australia in 1872. William had left Ireland for Australia in 1864 with his cousin Mary Droney.

My father and I have both done Ancestry DNA tests if you would like to look for any match you have with us. My test is Lintywhite and my father's is B.H. . We have our tree connected.
