Thomas Cochrane was born in 1835.
In 1868 he married Anne Ryan (1839-1877).
Thomas and his wife Anne were emplyed as the Master and Matron of Castlecomer Workhouse.
After his wife's death in 1877, Thomas emigrated to America and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His daughter Margaret (1870-1960) and his brother in law James J. Ryan (1848-1929) were both also living in Philadelphia.
Thomas died in 1895 at the age of 60. He is buried in the Old Cathedral Cemetery in Philadelphia.
