I don't know if it is the same family but my grandfather-in-law, John Prunty from Roslea,Fermanagh, stayed with his cousin Pete Connolly upon his arrival in Cleveland Ohio in 1909.
I do not know the family connection, his grandmother was a Lynch, his mother was Catherine Prunty and his father unknown.
Hi there, I'm not sure this is the same family. Thomas was my grandfather, he and his sister were the only two children of John Connolly and Catherine Maguire. John was the son of Patrick Connolly. I don't have any information about his siblings but the family were Roman Catholics and seem to have been in Lisnaskea for several generations, Actually many of the family still live there. I guess they could have been cousins, but unfortunately the records for my great grandfather's generation are a bit sketchy so I'm struggling to find any siblings. If I do find any, or a connection, I'll update on here.
