Thomas Cox was a land agent & farmer, acting on behalf of Guy Lloyd Esq. of Croghan House. He rented 80 acres in Bunreagh (part bog) and about 57 acres in Lisday from Lloyd of Croghan House. Cloverhill House was valued at £10. Cox was also the immediate lessor of the National Schoolhouse at Killappoge and a house and garden in Lisdaly occupied by Catherine Keeneen.
A few baptismal records of his children appear on Estersnow Church of Ireland records.
