They had 12 children and he was a farmer and had a stroke when butchering a pig.
Children were: Nicholas, Agnes, Anna, Catherine, Thomas, Ruth, Raphael, Sr Mary Magdalen (born Mary Loretta), Birgitta "Margaret", Bernadine, and Richard.
He is buried in Mt-Olivet Cemetery, Battle Creek, Calhoun Co, Michigan
