Possibly from County Mayo--passed down information, but no hard evidence. Married Ellen Mulvihill--perhaps late 1930s (unable to find any marriage record). Oldest child, daughter Margaret, born abt 1840, unsure if this child born in Ireland or Canada (unable to find baptismal record and Canadian records inconsistent). Ellen and Thomas may have had a child die on the voyage to Canada (oral history, unsubstantiated--also have found no ship records for Ellen or Thomas). Settled North Crosby Township, Ontario Canada about 1840.
