Stayed in Ireland
Thomas Higginson (1856-1931) of Cornamudda just south of Drumshanbo was a farmer and member of the Church of Ireland. His presence at the death of his mother in 1896 confirms he was the son of Francis Higginson. Death records also confirm he was the brother Richard Higginson (whitesmith / sexton) of Corryard, Drumshanbo and later of Carricknabrack).
