Looking for Welsh, Walsh or Welch. Thomas and Lily Hopkins Walsh (as their name was in US) and family migrated from Belfast to Philadelphia. They settled in Saltzburg, Pennsylvania for several years. Children are Lilly, William, Joshua, Daniel, Margaret, Jane. Jane married Hugh Kelly who migrated as well to Saltzburg area. Lily married Thomas McLaughlin IN Ireland. I descend from their son John Wesley McLaughlin. It was known that they brought Methodism with them and several were pastors, Daniel being a circuit pastor in Ohio, Illinois and Iowa for many years.
It was written in 1907 family record that Thomas was the son of the last of the Druid priests. Some of the children and grandchildren were healers. Not much else is known about this. A fascinating tip I would like to know much more about.
