Usher's death certificate indicated he was born in Dublin and his parents names were George Tinkler and Ann Green.

In other family written documents it's stated Usher came from a place called Coolbanger in the Barony of Portnahinch, county of Laois Ireland.

Usher sailed to Australia where he met his wife Ann McDonald (Isle of Skye) and they settled in Paterson NSW, Australia.

NSW Australia Death Certificate states he died in 1890 at Paterson NSW.
