William Craig born around 1812 in County Armagh, Northern Ireland & Elizabeth Walker born around 1815 also from County Armagh.  

They were married in Ireland and came to Canada along with William's brother James and his cousins William and John Craig  around 1835 all settling in Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario, Canada.  They all owned land and were farmers. 

William and Betsy had 7 children William James, Sarah Anne, John, Mary Martha Jemima, Elizabeth Jane, Charles and Thomas Craig. Some of his brother James's descendents still live in Fitzroy Harbour.  

William eventually moved his family to Wakefield, Quebec, Canada and then after his wife Betsy died in 1875 in Wakefield and was buried in Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery in Lascelles, Quebec, Canada  moved to Kearney, Nebraska, United States with his daughter Sarah Anne Craig and her husband Agustus Marshall. 

William died in 1885 in Westmark, Phelps, Nebraska and is buried at Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg Township, Phelps, Nebraska, U.S.A.
