Born around 1761, William Gamble Galway was married at St Andrew's Dublin on 15th May 1787 to Jane Anne Clossy. He was a merchant in the city and lived at 26 North Anne Street.
There were three children:- Eliza Anne (died young), Thomas Leech Lennox and Eliza Anna.
William Gamble Galway was active in the Orange Lodge of Dublin but around 1804 he moved to England, changing his surname to Galloway. He died, apparently intestate, at his home in Park Street, Bath, on 20th December 1846.
