My paternal grandfather, William John JACOB, was born May 14, 1892 at the Oak Park Estate in County Carlow.
He was the sixth child of twelve born to John and Elizabeth Anne (PIERCE) JACOB.
William grew up on the Oak Park Estate and was an apprentice blacksmith. He immigrated April 30, 1907 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I'd love to know more about his life at the Oak Park Estate and well as his grandparents names!
