I found a copy of the original civil birth record for your William Condon, showing he was actually born in 1882 rather than 1883. I also found the civil birth records for his 7 siblings, as well as the church and civil marriage records for his parents, Michael Condon and Mary Butler. If you do not have these records I can send them to you after you reply that you would like these records.

Hi Dave thanks for the information. I knew William was born in 1882 I have a copy of his birth cert. His siblings were Thomas James James Daniel Edward John and Michael. He moved to America. On all his documents; Citizenship Passenger lists he states he was born in 1883. I used this year instead of 1882 to try find my American relatives as he had four children who would have been my granny’s first cousins.

William Condon b 1817 Cork County d Australia year ? ? Was a convict sent to Port Jackson Australia at 21 years of age on Ship Clyde 1838 sentence 7years 21/8/1845 COF .

Hi Brian unfortunately this isn't the same William Condon as the one your looking for as this man was born in Kilkenny and moved to Philadelphia U.S. You could try searching on the familysearch site as it provides many free records. It may be tricky as Condon is a very common name in Cork.
