William Woods, with wife Eliza Day and 3 children, emigrated to the NSW colonies in 1841. They sailed aboard the "Herald" arriving at Port Jackson on 15 Jul 1841. As bounty immigrants, they were placed on a farm at Windsor, NSW, Australia. They had another 8 children whilst living in this area.
