Dolphin Discs (also on Talbot Street) was a family business set up by the O'Reilly family in 1948. The location of their first shop at Dolphin's Barn gave this iconic Dublin chain its name.

Sadly the Dolphin Music group closed in 2012 but have continued service online: facebook.com/DolphinMusicGroup/

Dolphin Discs on Moore Street is remembered fondly not only for the music (mainly ballads) that could be heard all down the street but also as a place where singles and cassettes could be bought that bit cheaper than elsewhere.
