The Abbeyleix Railway Station is located in the civil parish of the same name in Co. Laois.
The Station was built in 1864. Renovations and extensions took place in the 1970's. A further phase of construction and extension took place in the mid 1980's.
The Abbeyleix Railway Station is on the main line between Dublin and Cork and it is still operational today.
