Stáisiún Mhainistir na Búille aka Boyle Railway Station  is a very fine example of nineteenth-century railway architecture.

It opened 3 December 1862, when the first steam train from Longford arrived at Boyle Station on its way to Sligo (extending from Dublin-Mullingar).
