This bridge is located in the civil parish of Templemore in County Mayo, though it must be noted that some records refer to this parish as Strade.
The bridge was constructed sometime before 1838, as records from that year so it to already be in situ.
It spans the Strade River.
From the building style it is estimated that the bridge dates as far back as the early 1700's.
The bridge was bypassed in 1938.
The walls are heavily covered in ivy, but the bridge itself is in good condition.
