My great grandfather, William Hennessy (born 1868), was a stone mason in Cork city. His father and grandfather we're also stone masons in Cork. My mother says William helped to build Cashes.

My ancestor, Timothy Harte and wife Hannah (nee Doyle) had their house at 15 Patrick St., Cork burnt in 1920 and a neighbouring drapery/dressmaking/millinery business run by his wife at 15. Is it nearby, and what has replaced it, please? Am I right unthinking it was Debenhams? If so, when was that erected? Thanks, Frances
