The Church of the Immaculate Conception is located in the civil parish of KIlmovee in County Mayo.
The church was built in 1859 and is affiliated with the Roman Catholic faith.
It was designed by a Dublin based architect called John Sterling Butler.
Renovations took place from 1915 to 1916, during which time the Sanctuary was refitted.
Furher renovations took place in the 1940's and 1990's.
In spite of all these renovations, the Church of the Immaculate Conception has managed to retain many of its original features.
The Church of the Immaculate Conception has been maintained to an excellent standard and is still in use today for regular religious worship.
