Property/House name: Croom Castle Description: Originally a Fitzgerald Castle, subsequently granted to the Duke of Richmond who sold it to John Croker in 1721. Reverend Fitzgerald writes that Croker was agent to the Duke. A residence was built with some of the stone from the old castle.
