What an excellent photo of the church. Thank you for posting it! Would you write a few sentences about the history of this building? And perhaps a few sentences about the history of the parish? My Doheny ancestors were part of the parish from at least 1858 to 1895 when all the children emigrated. This was after both of their parents had died. V. Rev. John J. O'Rourke helped me feel very connected to all of my grandfather Edward Doheny's family when we corresponded back in August 2000. I'll always be grateful to him.
