Kilkenny castle Ireland, my 2nd great grandfather James Higgins worked here as a chimney sweep and he played the fiddle for most of the functions going on there for lord ormond and he played for the king and queen.
He had two other brothers Tom and Michael HIGGINS they were all fiddle players know as the higgins brothers of kilkenny. Their father Patrick Higgins was a master fiddle player.
